FREE Video Sales Pages With Optin and More!
March 18th 2009 -
FREE Video Sales Pages With Optin and More!I’m sure you must have seen absolutely loads and loads of video sales pages and video squeeze pages by now, and maybe you are wondering why they are being used more and more. Well, the main reason is quite simply they work!
For example, take a look at one of the biggest promotions out at the moment, by one of the biggest marketers ‘Mike Filsaime‘. You will notice that he basically has just a video and an opt-in box on the page and not much more, the reason, as I just mentioned is because it just works!
In my tests the video sales page works 5 times better than conventional written sales pages, you know what that means … 5 times as many sales/subscribers!
So that’s why I went about creating some video sales page templates that YOU can use, that are also simple to edit. I even made a video for you explaining exactly how to edit them.
As well as a built in opt-in form to build your subscriber list, they come with an example video already inserted, so you can simply replace that with your own.
They also have pre-written twitter tweets inserted, that you can use to drive traffic from your twitter account to your products.
They also have a auto extending content area for any text, images or sales pitch that you wish to insert.
Anyway, enough of me telling you how good they are and what they can do, go ahead and download them for FREE right now, no need to opt in or anything, just download:
http://www.dave-nicholson.com/free/Sales_Pages_With_Optin_Video_and_Tweet.zip
If you need some help editing them I have also created a video for you, showing exactly how to do it:
http://www.dave-nicholson.com/videos/free_video_sales_page
You can send anybody you like to get them from this link:
http://www.dave-nicholson.com/free_video_squeeze/
If you like the templates then please leave a comment, also, if you have any ideas/improvements, please feel free to comment!
I hope this little gift gives you the edge you may need to succeed!
Dave.

Wow Dave, what a gift. I can’t believe you are giving something like this away for free and not even asking for an opt-in. You do realize you could have sold these templates for a lot of money. Especially as video is so hot right now.
Good on ya mate, that’s looking after your subscribers.
March 18th, 2009 at 11:23 pm
Cheers John,
Yeah, I know I could have sold them but I think now and then people just need a ‘helping hand’ , just my way of helping the needing!

Dear Dave
Thank you – I have downlaoded them and will look at them tomorrow. I’m sure they will prove invaluable and if they look anything like in your demos then you have given me and others a superb tool.

Fantastic templates, just checked out the demos and like John can’t believe your giving these away for free.
Will make good use of these and will be telling people to get over here and grab them.
Thanks Dave

Nice job, Dave. I’ve been thinking about converting my squeeze pages to video power squeezes, so this was good value-added. Only suggestion on training video would be to show users how to change code if they are not using Aweber, but another similar service. Many IM-ers use iContact for example. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Dave, this is really good of you giving these video sales/optin pages away for free.
As per usual the quality of your graphics are “second-to-none”, very eye catching.
Talking about videos, while I’m here, may I ask if you could one day do a tutorial for us showing us how to create a video to go on our sales pages. Nothing too technical basically similar to the one you have on these two “Video Sales Pages With Optin”.
I’m actually designing a set of 8 video squeeze pages but have been putting it off as I’m not too sure how to create a video like the one you hae created.
I’ll be sending my subscribers to the link to your optin to get their free copy.
Once again thank you for these freebies,
Take care
Kind regards.

This is for one thing – a GREAT pat on the back with all the help you can give. I am just coming out of a very serious medical problem, and to have someone like you do this, really makes me feel special. I will be working again, for sure!

Thank you Dave,
Great gift and demo. This could not have come at a better time. This morning I was informed by my web host and Google that many of my websites have been hacked and have been cleaned up. They are now so clean that I have to rebuild all of them.
I will start editing the template and installing on my various websites tomorrow.
Again thanks,

Hi Dave,
We’ve exchanged pleasantries on Twitter a couple of times but this is the first time I have been to your blog. Lots of folks say nice things about you so I figured I should probably come and say howdy keyboard to keyboard.
Briffs was telling me about your awesome post on Twitter last night so I made a note of it and decided to come over and see what he was whanging on about.
NICE! I downloaded it Dave. I’ll probably check it out over the weekend. But this video software sounds brilliant. I have seen the Filsaime-Jeffreys video and it seems to be creating a lot of attention.
Anyway, I chucked my name and email addy into your subby base coz I felt it was the right thing to do. I hope others do that too in appreciation of your generosity and benevolence with this.
I had to laugh at that “top banana” comment of Tommy’s too (Hi Tommy!). The reason being… I have a name for all the people whole scavenge all the free stuff they can get (duh! – didn’t I just do that myself?). I call them “free banana monkeys.” They sit up in the trees just waiting for somebody to throw out a bunch of bananas (ie something free) and then they swing down en-masse to get it.
Back up in the trees they eat their free bananas and chuck the skins back down on the ground (ie they unsubscribe from your list after they get what they want – even if they DON’T want it – but they take it anyway coz it’s FREE, you see). FREE is like a hypnotic drug to them.
Oh well, enough chimpanzee chattering from me. When I receive something valuable I like to reciprocate. I’ve got a lot of stuff Dave (mostly my own but I do have some master resale rights to some very good advertising manuals too) – send me an email and let me know what you are interested in and I’ll see what I have that you may like.
Actually – just thought of this – I have a red hot e-book story called “Power of Choice” which I know you would enjoy – mainly coz EVERYBODY who has received it in the last 6 years has raved about it. It’ll make you think about the future like nothing else.
OK. I’ve said more than enough. Thanks again. Email me if you want. Catch you on Twitter.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the great product Dave! Can you help please… when editing you say “put your video HTML in there” but where do we get the HTML for the video from please?, and how do we ensure it’s the right size please? Thanks. Susan
March 19th, 2009 at 6:10 pm
Hi Dave,
Thank You for the superb gift.
You have saved me a lot of time and hassle, I’ve been trying to put together a twitter linked video sign up page and you have just done it for my.
Excellent as always – Keep it up

March 19th, 2009 at 6:32 pm
Thanks Dave,
The video pages will come in very handy indeed….
March 19th, 2009 at 7:04 pm
Hi Susan,
You will get the video HTML from whatever program you used to produce your video, I use camtasia – http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp
Another subscriber already asked if I can create a video explaining how to create a video, I’m not great at creating video but I will try to create something that will help.
If the video was just a youtube video or smth similar then you could just paste the ‘embed’ code that it gives you where I say “put your video HTML in there”
Dave.

Hey Dave, thanks for the awesome video squeeze pages. I can’t wait to use them. I’m glad you also included the “how to edit” video. I also need those. This is exactly the kind of help I need to get the page up and running. Thanks again.
P.S. Love the built in tweet.

@ Mike @ Gayla Thanks for your kind words
March 21st, 2009 at 1:24 am
I KNOW exactly why these are FREE with no catches…first and foremost there is always more happiness in giving than receiving.
You enjoy helping people and that of course, builds up your Karma and earns TRUST.
Lastly, we all reap what we sow. Doing business in this manner is not only good, it’s brilliant. We ALL win.
All of the above is the “catch” used correctly — that’s the way to succeed in any business. Thanks very much!
March 21st, 2009 at 1:35 am
Just one more thing. Everyone is so amazed by the QUALITY of the FREE gifts. Plus there’s even 2 of them. This part borders on genius.
With the mostly useless crap being re-packaged in sets of 10,20,50 or more and then over-valued, these 2 stand out. If you gave away 50+ poor quality pages it would do more damage than good!!
One high quality template is good but TWO — that’s as close to perfection as you can get. People will opt-in all by themselves when they go looking for you…good job!

Re Leah @40 & 41.
That is exactly what I did @28
Gary Simpson
March 21st, 2009 at 9:32 am
Hey Leah,
You are exactly right with everything you just said, you hit the nail on the head there!
Yes, I do get a great deal of satisfaction helping others, I just wish I had more time to do more!
I also totally agree about all the re-packaged crap that is given away or sold, it’s just a waste of your own time or money and eventually ends up damaging your brand.
Due to the fantastic response I have had with these I will definitely be doing more of the same very soon.
Thanks,
Dave.
March 21st, 2009 at 8:06 pm
Amazing all these GREAT comments… you surely must delete the ones like mine which say that really it’s noting special that you are giving away. I unsubscribe immediately from your list, man.
March 21st, 2009 at 9:15 pm
Hey Brother, I don’t delete any comments, if you are not happy with it that is your opinion and you are entitled to it.
Some things may be nothing special to some people, but they mean a lot to others.
March 22nd, 2009 at 4:51 am
Brother Quas,
I’m pretty sure there is no provision for deleting comments without deleting the numbers but I could be wrong.
I say that because last summer, my comments WERE deleted from the Guru of all-time hype, can you guess who? Initials: MF Hint: used to be a car salesman in NY.
When they were deleted numbers in 2 places were missing so let’s what happens since I’m taking #46 — if you get the boot the numbers will go #43 – - #46 an obvious deletion. Why was I deleted?
I guess I wasn’t supposed to mention his next program coming out – I didn’t know it wasn’t “announced” yet. I did complement him on his use of FLASH instead that tired, extra long, never ending sales letter with the big red and blue letters. Funny I haven’t seen any more Flash since then. Oh well.
Then I think he took what I said wrong unless I’m the one mis-interpreting the following: The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits.”
I thought that fit right in with his latest e-mail blasts, all about how genius the program was, the author, everything was genius. I was not insinuating HE was stupid — I was saying just the opposite — genius with limits is not a bad thing!
Anyway 2 numbers were missing when I was DELETED so I think everyone will know if YOU get deleted — or if I do — AGAIN
P.S. . Does that “genius has its limits” sound insulting? I’ve been wondering about that ever since.
March 22nd, 2009 at 11:22 am
Hi Leah,
Personally, I don’t think MF will be really bothered about a little ‘banter’, what probably happened was the post was auto spammed, I get a few which get auto deleted and I have to go rummaging for them.
About your ‘genius’ comment, personally, I can see it is a harmless comment but it does kinda target people who are not as clever as others.
Anyway, we are getting off topic here!
March 23rd, 2009 at 4:33 pm
Dave,
Thanks a lot for this. Wondering if it would be ok to give this a way as a gift to my subscribers? Giving full Credit of course!
Rob
March 23rd, 2009 at 4:53 pm
Hi Rob,
Yes, by all means you can give your subscribers the link – http://www.dave-nicholson.com/free_video_squeeze/
They will receive it automatically if they enter their details on that page.
This is the ONLY method that you are allowed to give it away.
Thanks,
Dave.
March 29th, 2009 at 3:56 am
Thanks so much for the templates, Dave. Well done!
I am anxious to use them, but like Val, will have to wait to see the video you create on how to make one. Thanks again for taking care of your subscribers.

Thanks Dave for the FREE video themes, much appreciated.
Video certainly works and I have found this out from experience, plus I know which one I would rather do out of watching a video and reading a stupidly long sales page.

This is really a great free offer – thanks.
I’m fasinated by how simple it looks (on your tutorial video).
You’re using camtasia. Can it be used with other software ?
Thanks again,

Yes, you can use it with any software you choose, you just need to keep the sizes that are mentioned.

August 4th, 2009 at 3:23 pm
Thanks Dave! This is such a great offer but I was super excited to get my hands on editing this until again I found out you only offer tutorial for Aweber users and not GetResponse or others. *Sigh* this is the part that frustrates me with getting any video squeeze template stuff, everything is always for Aweber and never any consideration for other autoresponders.
In as much as I like this templates, it is useless to me since I don’t have Aweber. Thanks though for your generousity!
August 4th, 2009 at 5:30 pm
Hey Femi,
Your wish is my command!
Download a version for Getresponse here – http://www.dave-nicholson.com/free/Sales_Pages_With_Optin_Video_and_Tweet_GETRESPONSE.zip
It’s dead easy to edit, just replace the following parts with your Getresponse details:
(line 55)Your Getresponse List Name – Replace with your Getresponse list name.
(line 56)Your Getresponse Confirm URL – Replace with your required confirm URL (delete ‘Your Getresponse Confirm URL’ to use the GR default.
(line 57)Your Getresponse Tracking Code (ref) – Replace with your Getresponse tracking code (ref).
That’s it!
Hope this helped you.
Dave.

August 9th, 2009 at 6:58 am
Hey Dave:
Your templates are fantastic! They look really good, have the important parts in the right places, and are user friendly even for a complete newbie.
The only thing I think is a mistake is that you don’t have a “profit pulling platform” attached to the backend of the free download. (I.e. link to a download page instead of directly to the zip file, and put an upsell on the top of that page so the visitors have to scroll down to get to the download.)
I’m sure you’ve considered this and know how to pull it off. Wonder why you haven’t done it yet?? Do you need a profit pulling nudge, or you just don’t need the money at all…
?
Cheers,
Thomas
August 9th, 2009 at 9:40 am
Hey Thomas,
Thanks for your compliments.
Yes, I did think of an upsell, however, it’s nice to sometimes just ‘give’ something, without wanting something in return!
Thanks for the ‘nudge’ tho!
Dave.

Hey Dave,
I read a lot of the comments and see many ideas coming forth. You know something I learned a long time ago is if you sow a seed it is only one seed, but when it is sown it bears many seeds and provides a need. If you keep this up you will be a millionaire before to long. Have a great day.

Surely there must be somewhere in the template that you need to add your twitter username and password for it to be able to tweet it on your page?
Did I miss sumut?
August 24th, 2009 at 8:15 am
Hey Steve,
When you click on the ‘tweet this’ link it takes you to twitter, you need to login to twitter with your own twitter details, it will then automatically have a tweet ready to go for you.
Dave.

I would like to know if we have to use camatasia to download our video or would you suggest something else also.Thank you
August 25th, 2009 at 9:38 am
Hey Alex,
You can use any software you like to ‘produce’ your videos, I only say camtasia because that is what I personally use.
Here is a free trial to camtasia if it helps:
http://www.techsmith.com/download/camtasiatrial.asp
If you want something different then maybe try typing ‘free video production software’ in Google and try a free one.
Vegas pro is another good one:
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/trials/vegaspro
Hope this helps.

Hi Dave,
Due to circumstances beyond my control I have not been able to visit very many other people’s Blogs to have a look around.
What a pleasant surprise though! I visit your Blog today and I have found your Blog to be most informative, precise, as well as to-the-point, containing great content, pictures and videos.
I really love the layout and the information you have provided. I do agree with you thoroughly about taking time off. I am the prime example of a person who has learned that lesson the hard way.
I have picked up some pearls of wisdom from your posts and I really thank you.
I just love your Blog, its layout and its content. It really is a very interesting read.
Thanks again and cheers,

Hi Dave,
Thanks mate, these are absolutely brilliant. I’m a newbie looking to start something online from scratch with zero capital as a way to earn an income. So I welcome any cost free offers that will help me along the way. So thanks for this smashing offer.
I only stumbled across your website by chance today after surfing other marketing sites. Wish I had discovered it sooner as I think you are providing super value. I think I’ll be visiting regularly.
Cheers
